Pre and post natal

Pre and post natal

A nascent and growing discipline, perinatal psychology concerns the period surrounding the birth of a child: from conception to the first months of the baby's life through the process of birth.

Becoming a father or mother does not always go without saying. A young parent is swept up in a whirlwind of emotions and questions that are easy or difficult to handle. The child, born or to come, the parents, present or future, form an indivisible system where each one influences the other.
The prenatal psychologist creates a privileged framework to welcome the diversity of the signs of "becoming a parent" and "being born human". Benevolent listening can most often be sufficient to restore the confidence and pleasure of being a parent and effectively manage father-mother-baby relationships.
